01. Status and scope
This is the draft of the Huntervania Seasonal Leaderboard Challenge rules. While this page is marked as a draft, it is an announcement of a planned competition, not an open invitation to compete for prizes. The organizer must publish complete final terms before qualifying entries are accepted.
These official rules govern the Huntervania Seasonal Leaderboard Challenge for the dates and eligible countries shown below. Participation and prizes are subject to the complete rules and verification.
The competition has two independent categories: the full game's seasonal Standard Best Players leaderboard and seasonal Arena Best Players leaderboard. It is not a random prize draw. No claim is made that in-game mechanics are free of randomness.
02. Organizer and contact
- Organizer
- Pocket IT
- Address
- Żeromskiego 32a, 62-200 Gniezno
- Country
- Poland
- Contact email
- admin@huntervania.com
The organizer independently administers and funds this competition. The public developer name is not a substitute for the legal identity above. Do not send private prize-claim or tax information in public Steam discussions.
03. Dates and eligible territory

- 17 October 2026 at 00:00 UTC
- Eligible countries

Qualifying scores must be successfully recorded on the designated competition boards at or after the published start time and strictly before the published end time. All times are UTC.
Qualifying scores must be successfully recorded on the designated competition boards at or after the published start time and strictly before the published end time. All times are UTC.
The final rules must identify eligible countries explicitly. An announcement visible worldwide does not make the competition available in every country. Entries made before the final rules take effect do not become qualifying entries retroactively.
Participation is restricted to the eligible countries listed above. Entries made before the final rules took effect do not qualify retroactively. A worldwide announcement does not extend eligibility to other countries.
Reading this translation does not establish eligibility in your country. Only the final eligible-country list applies.
04. Who may participate
Participants must meet the minimum age above, reside in an eligible country, hold a legitimate Steam account and have lawful access to the official full Steam version of Huntervania. They must comply with the game and Steam terms. Employees or persons directly involved in administering or verifying the competition, the organizer and members of the organizer's household are excluded.
One natural person may use one Steam account for prize participation. Account sharing to combine multiple people's performance, submitting scores for another person and using several accounts to claim multiple places in one category are prohibited. The same eligible person may receive one prize in Standard and one prize in Arena.
05. How to enter and costs
After the final competition opens, read these rules and the privacy notice, play an eligible run in the chosen mode during the competition period and allow the game to submit your score to its designated seasonal leaderboard. There is no website registration form, score upload form or Steam sign-in on this site. Merely visiting this site does not enter the competition or signify consent to unrelated marketing.
There is no additional competition entry fee. Access to the paid full game is required; ordinary internet and hardware costs remain with the participant. Demo, offline-only, test and manipulated results are ineligible. No review, social-media follow, repost, paid boost or purchase of another product is required. A game purchase does not guarantee a prize.
Participants may make multiple runs. The official seasonal leaderboard's best retained eligible result determines placement. It is the participant's responsibility to check that the correct score was uploaded before the closing time; documented service failures are handled under the disruption rules below.
06. Rankings and score order
Standard: the seasonal Best Players board ranks the game's encoded score, based first on enemy kills and then on survival time. A longer survival time wins when kill counts are equal within the game's supported score limits.
Arena: the seasonal Best Players board ranks completed waves first and kills second, using the game's encoded score and supported limits. An unfinished wave is not counted as completed. Survival time is shown as supplementary data, not an additional Arena score criterion.
The organizer must confirm that this description matches the released build and publicly identify both competition boards before entries open. Only those boards qualify. All-time rankings, previous seasons, the demo and Standard's standalone kills/time rankings do not award additional prizes.
Only the two designated competition boards linked below award prizes. All-time rankings, previous seasons, demo boards and Standard's separate kills and survival-time boards are not additional prize competitions.
07. Closing snapshot and exact ties
At the closing time the organizer records and archives the final official leaderboard order for each category. Pending fair-play verification, the top three eligible positions win. If two or more encoded scores are identical, the order returned by Steam in that closing snapshot decides their relative positions. There is no random draw and no discretionary new tie-breaker after the competition.
If a score is removed after verification, the remaining eligible entries move up in their existing relative order. A website cache, screenshot submitted by a player or current all-time rank is not by itself the official final result. Technical discrepancies must be investigated and explained before prizes are finalized.
08. Prizes in both categories
| Position | Standard | Arena |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | €50 | €50 |
| 2 | €25 | €25 |
| 3 | €10 | €10 |
The amounts above are the nominal Steam Gift Card values in euros, not cash prizes. The total advertised pool across both categories is €170. One person can win in both categories; therefore there are six prize positions but potentially fewer than six distinct winners.
Prizes are personal and are not exchanged for cash by the organizer. Steam may convert the value into the recipient's wallet currency and apply regional restrictions. The final eligible-country list must take supported delivery into account. An agreed lawful substitute must not reduce the promised nominal value.
09. Fair play and verification
Cheats, trainers, memory editing, falsified scores, manipulated save data, unauthorized gameplay modifications, automation that plays the game for the participant, and deliberate abuse of serious bugs to falsify performance are prohibited. Normal powerful builds, legitimate synergies and accessibility tools that do not automate play or manipulate scores are allowed.
The organizer may request proportionate evidence such as Steam ID confirmation, relevant game logs, screenshots or existing gameplay recordings. A recording cannot be demanded retroactively as the only acceptable proof if recording was not required by the final rules before the run. The organizer never requires a Steam password, Steam Guard code or payment to unlock a prize.
Disqualification requires reasonable documented grounds. The participant must receive a reason and an opportunity to explain or contest the finding. Merely achieving an unusually strong score is not proof of cheating. Confirmed ineligible scores may be removed and the next eligible player promoted.
10. Results and prize claims
Provisional results will be published on this website or the official Huntervania Steam announcements within 14 days after the competition closes, unless a documented investigation is still in progress. The announcement must state the claim deadline and official contact channel. Only a Steam display name, relevant Steam ID, category, position and score may be made public for results.
Potential winners have 7 calendar days from the results announcement to contact the organizer through the published official channel. The organizer will reasonably attempt to notify them through available Steam contact details where possible. The claimant must demonstrate control of the winning account and provide only information necessary for eligibility, delivery and legally required tax reporting.
If a claim is not made in time despite a clear public notice and reasonable contact effort, or eligibility cannot be verified, the organizer may offer the prize to the next eligible player after considering documented exceptional circumstances and any complaint. Private contact, address and tax details will not be included in public results.
11. Prize delivery
Verified prizes will be delivered within 30 days after the winner has provided the necessary information and any mandatory conditions have been satisfied. Delivery is through an official or otherwise lawful Steam Gift Card method supported in the winner's eligible region.
Steam may require the organizer and winner to satisfy account or friendship conditions before a digital gift can be sent. Check Steam's current requirements when arranging delivery. Currency conversion, account restrictions and acceptance of the gift follow Steam's current terms. If an unforeseen delivery restriction affects an otherwise eligible winner, the organizer will first seek a lawful equivalent solution with that winner rather than automatically confiscating the prize.
12. Taxes
Taxes and reporting obligations will be handled under applicable law. Mandatory duties of the organizer are not transferred to the winner by these rules. The final rules must specify whether a tax amount must be provided before delivering a non-cash prize or whether the organizer funds any required tax, and the resulting effect, if any, on the advertised nominal gift value.
Taxes and reporting obligations are handled under applicable law. Mandatory duties of the organizer are not transferred to the winner by these rules. The final tax handling published below describes whether a contribution is required before delivery or whether the organizer funds the applicable tax.
Final tax handling: To be confirmed before entries open
The winner remains responsible only for obligations that applicable law actually places on the winner. No promise of a universal tax exemption is made. Information needed for tax compliance will be requested privately and only to the necessary extent.
13. Bugs, updates and disruptions
Material bugs, verified manipulation or major service failures may require removing affected scores, pausing affected entry acceptance or making a proportionate schedule adjustment. The organizer will publish the reason, scope and effect promptly. Fair legitimate progress must be preserved as far as reasonably possible. Ordinary balance updates do not by themselves justify arbitrarily deleting valid scores.
Once entries open, the organizer cannot reduce promised prize values, introduce hidden charges, invent a new tie-breaker or make retroactive changes solely to avoid awarding a prize. Cancellation is limited to a legal requirement or circumstances making fair lawful continuation genuinely impossible, while respecting acquired and mandatory rights. Documented corrections and exceptional measures must remain open to complaint.
14. Complaints and participant rights
Send complaints through the organizer's published contact email, with the Steam ID, category, relevant score and a short explanation. Avoid unnecessary sensitive data. The organizer will acknowledge receipt and provide a reasoned response within 14 days; if a complex investigation needs more time, the organizer will explain why and give an expected date.
Using the complaint route is not a condition for going to court or contacting a competent consumer or data protection authority. Nothing in these rules excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer protections or deprives participants of remedies under the law applicable to them.
15. Personal data
Competition data is processed only for the described administration, verification, prize delivery, dispute handling and legal obligations. Read the privacy policy for the controller identity, data categories, legal bases, recipients, retention criteria and rights. Steam operates its own service under its own privacy terms. Visiting this site does not subscribe you to marketing.
16. Independence and versions
Valve Corporation, Steam, X, Reddit, YouTube and TikTok do not sponsor, endorse, administer or fund this competition. Their names identify only the platform, prize type or communication channel. Steam and its marks belong to Valve Corporation.
All nine language versions are intended to state the same terms. Translation discrepancies must not reduce mandatory participant rights or retrospectively disadvantage a valid entry. The organizer must clarify material discrepancies before opening and retain the final published version.
