1. Developer and contact
The controller for processing carried out by the developer is Pocket IT, Żeromskiego 32a, 62-200 Gniezno, Poland, developer of Huntervania (Dubcherry). For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact admin@huntervania.com. Google independently operates Google Play and Play Games under its own terms.
2. Game progress on your device
The game stores progress, settings and local records on your device. When Play Games leaderboards are enabled, the game also stores a player-linked queue of scores awaiting submission. Local progress does not require a separate Huntervania account. Clearing the app’s storage removes local saves and settings. Uninstalling may also remove them; Android backup or restore settings can affect whether data returns. Local progress and ownership of a Google Play purchase are separate.
3. Google Play Games and leaderboards
In versions with Play Games enabled, Google authenticates your Play Games profile. The game uses the player identifier, profile information supplied by the service and gameplay scores to display and submit leaderboard results. Standard records defeated enemies; Arena records completed waves. Your player name, profile image where supplied, score and rank may be visible to other players according to Google’s profile and leaderboard settings. Scores awaiting submission are associated with the relevant player and leaderboard. You can play locally without successful Play Games sign-in; online rankings require the service. In builds where this integration is disabled, no scores are submitted through it.
4. Full-game purchase
The intended store model is a free demo with a one-time full-game unlock through Google Play. This feature is still being prepared as of the update date and is not available in the current development build. When enabled, Google handles payment; the developer does not receive your full card number or card security code. Purchase information, such as product ID, purchase token, transaction status and order information made available by Google, is used to verify, restore and support the unlock and handle refunds. Before a version introduces purchase verification on a developer-operated server or another provider, this policy will be updated to describe that processing.
5. Technical data and support
Google Play and Play Games may process device identifiers, app interactions, service diagnostics and device or software information to operate, secure and improve their services. This is separate from the game’s local save files. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Only include information necessary to resolve your request. The current game integration does not include advertising or a developer-operated analytics service; this policy does not claim that Google collects no service data.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing necessary to provide requested game services, restore purchases or handle a contractual support request relies on Article 6(1)(b). Required accounting and legal records rely on Article 6(1)(c). Ordinary correspondence, service security, preventing abuse and establishing or defending claims rely on Article 6(1)(f), subject to your rights and interests. Where processing requires consent, it must be obtained separately and can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not sell personal data or use support messages for unsolicited marketing.
7. Recipients, security and international processing
Data is disclosed only as needed to Google for its services, email service providers for correspondence, authorized support personnel, and advisers or authorities where legally necessary. The published support address uses OVHcloud; support through Gmail, if you choose that channel, is processed by Google. Google may process data outside the EEA under its published international-transfer safeguards. We use access controls and secure service connections; do not send passwords, authentication codes or full payment details to support. Google’s processing and retention are also governed by its own privacy policy.
8. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until cleared, overwritten or removed from your device. Pending leaderboard data is kept locally for submission and retry; clearing the app’s data removes this local queue but does not delete already submitted Google records. Data held by Google can be managed through Google Play Games and your Google Account settings. Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve the request and any resulting complaint; only records needed for an applicable legal duty or an actual or reasonably anticipated dispute are retained afterwards until that purpose ends. Financial records, if held, are retained for the applicable statutory period. Ask admin@huntervania.com to delete data held by the developer. Deleting local game data does not cancel a purchase or automatically delete Google-held data.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact admin@huntervania.com. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, UODO, or another competent data-protection authority. Huntervania does not create its own user account; manage Google accounts and Play Games profiles directly with Google. Privacy requests may require proportionate verification, never your Google password. Parents or guardians concerned about a child’s data can contact the same address.
10. Scope and changes
Android play and Google Play purchases do not enter the PC / Steam competition or qualify for its prizes. The website and that competition have a separate privacy notice. We update this policy when relevant game features or data practices change. Before Google Play release, the policy and store Data safety declaration must reflect the features actually included in that release.
